What's Going On In The Magness Household Today...

Tonight, Chloe has cheerleading. They are preparing for their US Finals at the end of April in VA Beach. I am also watching Chloe's friend, Chiara, who is also on her squad. They are behaving so good!
Greg went this morning and had the glass in his SUV replaced...the 2nd windshield in a year! He also had to get an inspection done. Then he came home and we have been cleaning ever since...I steam cleaned the carpet in the living room and dining area...whoever put carpet where you are supposed eat has lost their minds! I also mopped the kitchen floor while he cleaned our guest bathroom and master bathroom. I cleaned Chloe's and the boys room. Now, I just have to steam clean the boy's carpet in their room...Lil' Stinkers! Greg is supposed to be cleaning our bedroom in a little bit. I am washing all the laundry with our washer and then he is running it down to the apartment's guest suite to get dried since our dryer decided to die a couple of days ago!
Edward and Snickers are behaving like the good furbabies that they are...the boys on the other hand are in their high chairs eating their snack. Noah found their Easter baskets and keeps stealing candy out of them. Eli is just being super cute today...we did find out that he is terrified of the vacuum and as long as someone is holding him, he's fine.

I have also been house hunting for SC...and I found my dream house in the right price range right by the Naval hospital! The only problem...it's available now and we need it in July! Not cool! Greg called on it anyways just to see if the lady would work with us if we put a deposit down, which is what I am praying for. That would be so nice and such a blessing!
I'll keep praying and I know that God will put us where he needs us to be!

Introducing the Newest Member of the Magness Family...

Miss Snickerdoodle Magness aka Snickers or Snooki...Greg surprised me about 3 weeks ago with a Shiba Inu puppy. I knew immediately what her name was going to be because she is a total D-I-V-A! I am a BIG fan of the Jersey Shore on MTV (I watch it with my BFF, Melissa....we text or get on yahoo messenger the entire time it's on so we can "discuss" it!), so the name was just very fitting to my newest baby! The kids love her and Edward gets along with her great!

Family Pics!

Greg and I took the kids and got some new family pics done yesterday. This is the first time we have had our full family pics done since Chloe was 6 months old. We always tend to just get pics of the kids done! I am usually behind the camera taking the pic...not in the pic! But they turned out great and we love Portrait Innovations!

Williamsburg Colonial Spirit Championship

Chloe competed in the Williamsburg Colonial Spirit Championship on March 27th with her squad. We headed up on Friday night to have some family time. We went out to dinner and then headed back to the hotel. Chloe and I went swimming and then the kids went to bed and Greg and I watched Fireproof on the computer. We got up on Saturday morning and headed to William & Mary for the cheer competition. We have 1 more cheer competition after this...the US FINALS!

Grand National Championship By The Sea

Chloe and the Sparklers competed in the Grand National Championship By The Sea on March 13th and 14th. This was her first 2 day competition...They did so good! They competed against 3 other Tiny squads and won! We all had a good time. On the first day, my grandmother, sister, and niece drove up from Emporia to watch Chloe. On the 2nd day, it was just Greg, the boys, and I that went. Chloe really has a blast cheering and it is so wonderful to see that she has found something that she loves to do. Every time she takes the stage with her squad, the joy & love of cheerleading is written all over her face!

Life Happens...

March was a hard month for Greg and I...we separated not once, but twice. Because of things that we both have done, not because one person messing up but both of us messing up. We both decided that no matter what happens, we would not allow the other person to be bashed...unfortunately that didn't happen.
I was bashed by people the he thought was important to him, and he was bashed by a few of my friends.
So, we decided that the only people that really, truly matter in our marriage are us...me & him...and our kids.
We are working on things now though and trying to find that spark that drew us to each other in the first place, that made us fall in love with each other. We have a long, hard road ahead of us, but with Christ, all things are possible. We both lost sight of what was important but we are finding ourselves again. We are even talking about renewing our vows on our 5th wedding anniversary which will be July 1st, 2011. It may be a private ceremony or it may just be a few select family and friends...probably the few folks that didn't choose sides but loved on both of us.
We are moving to Beaufort, SC in July and we are both extremely excited...a new start for us! We are trying to get a house down there and we are busy trying to plan our lives...Chloe will be starting school in the fall and she will continue cheering. Noah has decided that he likes soccer (though I was a softball player and Greg likes baseball, football, & basketball!), and Eli likes all kinds of sports right now.
We are also busy preparing for Noah's 3rd birthday in a couple of weeks....Sesame Street with lots of Cookie Monster! I am baking a Cookie Monster cake for him.
With Easter coming up, Greg and I are taking the kids to get pictures done in a little bit. We are heading to Emporia to spend Easter with my family. My sister, Amy, and I, usually hide plastic Easter eggs for our kids to find. I dont know if we'll do that this year or not, depending on the weather.
Chloe also has her last cheer competition coming up with Extreme Supreme on April 30th-May 2nd...the US FINALS! Yes, my baby girl's squad made it! After that, we will take her off of a squad and have her strictly tumbling until we move. She will be heading to an All Star competitive squad next season...either the Hilton Head Warriors or Cheer Savannah, Inc.
Well, enough with my rambling...I'll post more later.

Cheer & Dance Extreme

Chloe and her cheer squad, the Extreme Supreme Sparklers, headed to Richmond on February 21st to compete in the Cheer & Dance Extreme competition. Greg, Chloe, Noah, Eli, my friend, CJ, and I headed up on the 20th to stay at the Embassy Suites. We met my sister, Punky, and my niece, Bri at the hotel. We took the kids swimming, enjoyed each other's company....My sister and I laughed and laughed until the wee hours of the morning....something we both really needed.
On the 21st, I got everyone up so I could our favorite little cheerleader ready to go cheer!
We ate breakfast at the hotel and then met my Dad, Momma Sherry, my sisters, Katie and Kelly, and our friend, Nikki at the competition.
Chloe was so excited that everyone came to see her cheer.
The Sparklers took 1st and rocked! Chloe did her stunt like a pro!

Majestic Miss Richmond

On January 31st, 2010, Chloe & I packed up my Explorer and headed to Richmond, VA in the ice and snow for the Majestic Miss Richmond pageant.
There were only a handful of girls but we really enjoyed the pageant and the directors were great!
We saw old pageant friends and made a few new ones.
Chloe won Tiny Miss Majestic Miss Richmond and Photogenic.
Then she won an AWESOME Overall award...Overall Most Spirited. This award was picked by the judges and was awarded to the girl that had the best personality and represented pageantry the best! I am so incredibly proud of my little girl!
